This board is well used but has plenty of life left, lots of pressure dents on the deck, minimal pressure dents on the bottom, and no repairs.
The Mussel was designed to make the most out of crappy surf while maintaining performance. The shorter, wider outline with a wide tail provides the extra lift needed to get going in weak and mushy waves. A three-stage rocker with a flat section under the front foot helps to accelerate down the line. Speed is the key in small waves, and this board is a speed machine. Ride it two to four inches shorter than your standard shortboard.
